Asheville Community Theatre raises funds for a new stage floor

From a press release:

Asheville Community Theatre raises funds for a new stage floor

We’ve heard from so many of you that you’ve been impressed with the intricate and large-scale dance numbers in many of our musicals. In order to better support (literally!) the amazing work of the dancers, we need to replace our stage floor. It just won’t do for someone to get a toe stuck in one of the gaping cracks or twist an ankle when landing on an uneven surface. A new floor in time for the February opening of A Chorus Line will be a dream come true!

A new floor will also help our Technical Director Jill and her team continue to create smooth, seamless scenic transitions. Those nooks and crannies on the floor are like canyons for the wheels on our wagons! A new floor will improve our 2015 productions from the ground up. Please help us to build it!
