Local morning show hosts Eddie Foxx and Sharon Green of The Eddie Foxx Show on 99.9 Kiss Country WKSF have won a 2016 CMA Broadcast Award for Small Market Personality of the Year. Having been nominated two times previously, the third time was a charm for this on-air duo of nearly a decade.
“We are still in a little bit of shock,” said Eddie and Sharon this morning, after receiving a personal phone call from Garth Brooks. “Being recognized by the Country Music Association is such a big honor. We have the best listeners in the world and the best jobs in the world! Honored just to be a part of what Kiss Country does in WNC.”
Eddie & Sharon will officially receive their award at the 50th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 2 in Nashville, TN.
