Park Ridge Health will participate in Strive Not to Drive week

Hendersonville, N.C. (April 4, 2012) – In honor of Strive Not to Drive Day on Friday, April 20, Park Ridge Health is coordinating with the Environmental & Conservation Organization (ECO) in an effort to encourage less driving, lower the community’s carbon footprint and help community members save money. The emphasis this year will be on taking the bus, cycling, walking and carpooling. Park Ridge Wellness will be offering “Bonus Points” for employees and their spouses (10 and five points respectively) involved in the Wellness Points program if they choose an alternate mode of transportation any time during the week of April 20 to April 26.
