Phutureprimitive is bringing his “dripping wet love drops of nasty mind-melting sonic bliss” to the New Mountain Theater, all the way from the Bay Area.
Producer and songwriter Rain will put you under his spell with his intricate melodies and rhythms, creating a lush atmosphere of sound. Lucky for Asheville, Phutureprimitive just dropped his latest full-length, “Seaching for Beauty in the Darkest Places, Part Two,” just in time for the show at New Mountain.
Bass Physics will also take the stage with their genre-bending electronic beats. The duo — A.P. Adair and Luke Sims — have one, sole mission, “to spread positive vibes through the power of music.” Be sure to come out early to soak it all in.
Asheville producer Live Animals opens up the show with an early set at 8:30 p.m. Josh Stone explores new soundscapes and expanding the consciousness of sound. Between his West-coast hip hop influences and his entanglements in modern bass music, Live Animals creates his own space on the map of the electronic dance music scene, fusing melody and harmony to create pure sonic force.
Music will start at 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. Tickets are $15 in advance and will be available at the door for $18.
