Three hours of roadblocks yield 30 summonses in Henderson County

According to the Hendersonville Times-News, Officers issued more than 30 citations and charges while conducting Booze It and Lose It checkpoints during the holiday, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Two checkpoints were set up from 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, one at Brookside Camp Road and Howard Gap Road and another along U.S. 25 and Brookside Camp Road, according to Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Frank Stout.

In addition to the DWI, the checkpoints resulted in seven driving with a revoked license, 12 open container, eight expired registration, three expired inspection, and one failure to carry a driver’s license charges or citations. One wanted person was also apprehended.
