Town of Fletcher announces annual community Halloween Carnival Oct. 29

From the Town of Fletcher Parks and Recreation Department:

Fletcher’s Halloween Carnival set for October 29th

Town of Fletcher’s Annual Halloween Carnival will be held on Saturday, October 29 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This year’s event will be held at Fletcher Community Park located at 85 Howard Gap Rd. in Fletcher on ball field #5.

This FREE community event will feature carnival style games with a Halloween twist, a costume contest, inflatable moon walk, slide and obstacle course, hay rides and lots of other family friendly Halloween fun!

Our annual contest for children 11 and under will begin promptly at 4 p.m. Awards will be given to the Best Traditional Costume, the Best Homemade Costume and the Most Creative Costume in each age category. New to this year’s costume contest we will also be awarding the best family costume. Family members must be dressed in a similar theme to be eligible. Please register at the Parks and Recreation tent no later than 3:45 p.m. to participate.

This family friendly Halloween fun is FREE thanks to the sponsorship from McGill and Associates, Hendersonville Pediatric Dentistry, Pepsi Co., FootRX of Asheville and Ingles of Fletcher!
