Veda Studios opens on the northside

 From a press release:

The much anticipated opening of Veda Studios is here. Housed in the upstairs of one of Asheville’s older historic buildings on Merrimon Ave. (formerly the Northside Grill location), is a new movement studio.  Opening day will be on February 28th and Veda Studios is offering free classes all day long. They will also be giving away yoga and fitness goodies and holding a sound healing demonstration. Also, all memberships purchased on February 28th will be half price.  Veda Studios is all about total wellness using yoga, dance, and martial arts as its primary vehicles.  There are two large movement rooms for classes as well as a practitioner room dedicated to therapeutic massage and other healing modalities for when you are ready to stop moving and let it all go.

As a holistic health and wellness destination with an emphasis on community building, their goal is to provide a space for individuals to explore, develop, and fulfill their passion for a creative path to a healthy lifestyle. With the belief that community and health go hand in hand, they are striving to connect likeminded individuals. Soon, the downstairs will be occupied by a sister business called Nectar, a health-centric raw foods restaurant & juice bar by day, serving farm to table Chinese food in the evening.  With all of this in place, it is a great opportunity to make connections.

The class schedule can be found at www.vedastudios.com. Any questions or inquiries can be directed toward Keleigh Lynch, Keleigh@vedastudios.com.
