Following is a press release from Chai Pain:
TUESDAY, APRIL 28th:
OPERATION MAITRI AT CHAI PANI:
10% OF LUNCH & DINNER SALES DONATED TO NEPAL EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
A call to action…
Travelers the world over (and many of us here at Chai Pani) have been embraced by the majestic mountains and gentle people of Nepal. Today Nepal is suffering and they need our help. Let’s come together in solidarity with Nepal and send them some much needed support. The Indian army has named its aid effort in Nepal ‘Operation Maitri’ or friendship. On this Tuesday April 28th, Chai Pani will sponsor ‘Operation Maitri’, collecting the profit from the day’s sales in Asheville and Atlanta and we’ll donate it to globalgiving.org in the name of ‘Operation Maitri’ to help fund the rescue and aid operations needed now. We invite the service industry worldwide to participate. Please join us, lets all do our part to help.
