Beer City CrossFit opens on Riverside Drive

Beer City CrossFit opened at 812 Riverside Drive (next to the Bywater) in mid-August. The self-described functional fitness gym also has locations in Charlotte and Knoxville.

A press release from the company says that building community among members — “everyone [including] soccer moms, former couch potatoes and top level athletes” — is as important to management as building muscle.

Here is the full release from the gym:

A new kind of gym has landed in Asheville! One that is focused not only on fitness, but a sense of community. Our goal is to bring functional fitness to our members of all levels – newbies to elite athletes — all in a safe and effective manner.

The owners of the box have successfully owned and operated two other Crossfit locations in Charlotte, NC and Knoxville, TN. With the application of Crossfit principles in conjunction with a passion for training – everyone from soccer moms, former couch potatoes, and top level athletes have experienced success in their fitness journeys with us. We also offer a “second to none” sense of community.

Our box isn’t just a place to train, but also a place to build friendships. Not convinced? Come check us out and give us a try. We’d be happy to show you around and the first workout is free. With a positive attitude, commitment, and consistency we promise you’ll see results through our programming. We forward to seeing you for a visit or workout, soon!
