Little Rock, Ark.-based literary magazine Oxford American holds a launch party for its summer issue at Downtown Books & News on Saturday, June 4. The event features local author and Oxford American contributor Jeremy B. Jones, banjo player Joe Sundrell and Oxford American editor Eliza Borné — the magazine’s first female editor in its 25 year history. The event takes place from 5-7 p.m.
