Aeroflow Healthcare is partnering with the Diaper Bank of North Carolina to host a diaper drive from April 22-26, with donations to benefit McDowell County families in need. Anyone wishing to donate can bring diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6 to Aeroflow’s headquarters at 3165 Sweeten Creek Road in Asheville between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from April 22-26. On April 27, Aeroflow employees will travel to the Diaper Bank of N.C. to deliver donated diapers to be collected McDowell County families, and volunteers from Aeroflow and the Diaper Bank of N.C. will be available for interviews.
One in three families in America struggle to afford diapers for their children, and McDowell County’s poverty rate is over 25%. These children often spend an entire day in a single diaper, while infants need up to 12 diapers per day.
