Press release from Asheville Music School:
Asheville Music School (AMS) is happy to announce the appointment of Kylie Irvin as their new program director. Kylie has been teaching voice & trombone, directing student ensembles, and leading summer camps at AMS for over three years. Her intimate knowledge of the AMS Sound Education outreach program will help her jump right in to provide stability and inspire growth in the already thriving program, which brings the joy of music to underserved members of the Western NC community.
Kylie shares,”It’s an honor to be serving Asheville Music School as program director. I’m filled with gratitude to be directly involved in a community that values the arts and to be in a position that enables others to share their musical gifts with those in need.”
Thankfully, Kylie will be able to continue teaching private lessons as well as leading ensembles and summer camps. Read Kylie’s bio and learn about her teaching online at www.ashevillemusicschool.org/teachers/kylie-irvin/
