Press release from Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office:
On June 23rd, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado K150 truck was stolen from a residence within Asheville city limits and was later located in unincorporated Buncombe County. Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation which identified several subjects in the larceny of the stolen truck, as well as stolen property. Detectives located and recovered $18,000 of stolen audio equipment from inside of the truck.
Two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with this ongoing investigation. Thank you to the SCET at the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, Probation & Parole, US Marshals Task Force and Asheville Police Department for the multi-agency assistance and arrest of these individuals.
