A-B Tech Community College announced today that its annual Find Your Future Open House will be held on Thursday, July 22 from 2-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Programs located on the main campus in Asheville, the Emergency Services programs at A-B Tech Woodfin and the aviation program at WNC Aviation at the Asheville Airport will participate. Attendees will be able to explore programs, tour facilities, meet faculty and advisers and enroll in fall classes.
This year’s Find Your Future Open House Day will be held in the locations where classes are taught. Attendees will be able to see classrooms, labs, training facilities and more. Faculty and advisers also will be on hand to answer questions about academic programs, admissions and financial aid.
Students who enroll in at least six credit hours by Aug. 10 and complete a FAFSA also are eligible to receive the new Trailblazer Promise funding, which covers the cost of tuition and fees for the fall semester. Additional emergency relief funds are available to assist students who graduated high school in 2021 and adults who enroll in workforce and continuing education classes.

The Aviation program’s open house will be held at WNC Aviation at Asheville Airport. WNC Aviation will hold a raffle for two free Discovery Flights valued at approximately $200 each for prospective students.The Emergency Services open house will be held at A-B Tech Woodfin. An open house for A-B Tech Madison will be held on Monday, Aug. 2 at the college’s location in Madison County.
