Share your input on the future of Coxe Avenue: Affordable housing development survey now live

Press release from Buncombe County:

Buncombe County is seeking community input on two options for the redevelopment of County-owned properties at 50 and 52 Coxe Ave. Your input will be used to help identify a preferred plan. The plan that is selected will then be shared with potential development partners, who will be asked to submit a proposal that outlines how their experience and approach will best help the County meet its goals for development of the site.

If you were unable to attend any of the community meetings, we encourage you to explore more about the two development options that the County is considering for its properties at 50 and 52 Coxe Ave. before completing the feedback form. Review the fact sheet and watch the short presentation video from the Feb. 24 online session.

The feedback form uses five guiding public interests endorsed in August 2023 by the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners. These interests were identified by community members in the spring of 2023 and act as guiding values for future development on these properties.
