Roach and The Fly By Night Rounders play at The Mothlight on Sunday, Feb. 12.
All four of the acts spotlighted in this edition are American; none is from Asheville, but all are musically adventurous and intriguing enough to justify a trip out on a potentially wintry February (or early March) Asheville evening.
Kare Strong, Lucy Ray and Aileen “Big Al” Pearlman will perform at the first iteration of this showcase of female-made music. The event takes place at The BLOCK Off Biltmore on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Ahead of an April 26 album release show, and feeling motivated by the recent presidential election, Jamison and Jackson Dulaney give a performance of a brand new song, “Love Wins in the End.”
