2016 Grassroots Arts Program grant winners announced

Press release from Asheville Area Arts Council:

The Asheville Area Arts Council is pleased to announce the 2016 Grassroots Arts Program Grant Winners. Since 1977, the North Carolina Arts Council’s Grassroots Arts Program has provided North Carolina citizens access to quality arts experiences. Using a per capita based formula, the program provides funding for the arts in all 100 counties of the state through partnerships with local arts councils. AAAC serves as the North Carolina Arts Council’s partner in awarding sub-grants to local organizations for arts programs in Buncombe County. The AAAC puts forth additional money towards this grant program with funds provided by Buncombe County.

We look forward to working with the following organizations as they develop their funded programs, projects and services, expanding the cultural arts in Buncombe County!
