From Lake Junaluska:
Lake Junaluska Rose Walk receives a makeover
LAKE JUNALUSKA, N.C. — The Rose Walk at Lake Junaluska, a beloved part of the Lake Junaluska Walking Trail, has received a makeover with new fencing.
The project was made possible because of gifts through the Junaluska Associates. The charitable group sets aside funds for projects around Lake Junaluska every year, and the Rose Walk project is one of many improvements planned for 2017.
When in full bloom during the summer, the Rose Walk is a stunning scenic highlight along the Lake Junaluska Walking Trail. The Rose Walk and Walking Trail are open to the public daily. Currently, the Rose Walk features a combination of 210 hybrid tea, grandiflora and floribunda roses.
