Press release from festival directors:
Dear West Asheville, All Go West sponsors, staff and volunteers,
We’ve decided we cannot move forward with All Go West in 2019. It is an incredibly tough decision for us, after putting so much heart and soul into this event for 7 great years. It’s just not in the cards for us producers – considering the amount of time, energy and finances a free event of this size requires.
We’d like to sincerely thank each and every person who supported us throughout the years. We want to give special acknowledgment to the sponsors who contributed financially and in-kind, the venues who chipped in and provided their production spaces, and of course the staff and volunteers who have gone above and beyond to help us achieve our vision. We have been honored over the years to have the artists and bands who graced our stages, the crafts of our incredibly talented vendors, and the open-minded music loving attendees of West Asheville (and beyond) who made this event truly special throughout the years.
We are not sure what 2020 will have in store for us, but we hope to have All Go West back in the loving arms of West Asheville.
See you soon,
Arieh Samson & Truth Wingfield
All Go West Co-Directors
it’s just fine without it…no big loss…too many festivals anyway…
