APD seeks missing person

Bethany Collins Buckles has been reported missing by her family since Nov. 18.

Asheville Police Department (APD) needs your help in locating a missing person.

Bethany Collins Buckles, 47, of the 50 block of Ravenscroft in Asheville, has been reported missing by her family since Nov. 18.  Her family says she has some mental health issues and can often be seen panhandling in the downtown area.

Bethany is described as 5’ ‘6″, weighing about 200 pounds. She drives a black Hyundai with NC tag #JDW3347.

If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Bethany, please share with the Asheville Police Department with an anonymous tip using the TIP2APD smartphone application (search “Asheville PD” in your app store) or by texting TIP2APD to 847411. You can also contact APD at (828) 252-1110.
