Downtown After 5, presented by Prestige Subaru, returns to Lexington Avenue Friday, July 15 with the Asheville All Stars and Minør (from Asheville Music School).
The All Stars lineup features Josh Blake, Spiro Nicolopolous, Nicole Nicolopolous, Rhoda Weaver, Brennan Dugan, Josh Clark, Ian Taylor, Mike Martinez, Eric Travers, Abby Bryant, Lo Wolf, Russ Wilson, Izzy Mayfield, Tim Morgan, King Garfield and Melissa McKinney.
Minør is part of the Sound Education outreach program at Asheville Music School. The program brings together music students to connect with peers, professional artists, and the community. Started in 2014 and mentored by local musician/educator Alec Fehl, the band has performed at notable venues and shows including Downtown After 5, Isis Music Hall, Salvage Station, LEAF and LEAF Downtown. Minør performs all genres/decades of rock and takes pride in a diverse repertoire.
Lot’s of local and regional brews, as well as cider, seltzer and wine available for purchase. Plus, food vendors: Buggy Pops, Cecelia’s Kitchen, Cooking with Comedy, Funnel King, Gypsy Queen Cuisine, Kernel Mike’s Kettle Corn, Sunshine Sammies and Tin Can Pizzeria.
May’s nonprofit partner is Open Hearts Art Center, a nonprofit supportive studio and gallerydedicated to representing and empowering adults with varied abilities to connect to and reach their full potential through the arts.
