Asheville Nonprofit Connector hosts forum, kickoff event May 11

From Asheville Nonprofit Connector:

The Asheville Nonprofit Connector (ANC) will host an Open Forum on Wednesday, May 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, for professionals working for or with non-profit organizations. The theme of the Open Forum will be, “How can we work together to create a support system in which Asheville non-profit organizations can thrive?”

This will be the kickoff event of the Nonprofit Connector, whose purpose is to connect people working in or with mission-based organizations to useful knowledge and resources, and to each other. The role of the organizers will be to facilitate determining what the needs of the Asheville nonprofit community are and organizing meetup events that help meet those needs. Learn more and register at avlconnect.org.

How can local artists in Asheville and Western North Carolina use their work to address pressing social issues in our community? In what ways can art serve as a catalyst for dialogue and action, and how might we engage diverse voices to ensure that this artistic expression reflects the rich tapestry of our local experience?”,
