Bus routes N3 and W6 to run once per hour starting May 11

Press release from City of Asheville:

Due to continued driver shortages, the N3 and W6 routes will only run once per hour beginning Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

For the N3, all trips scheduled 25 minutes after the hour from the downtown ART Station outbound towards Hillcrest are canceled until further notice. All inbound trips starting 35 minutes after the hour from Hillcrest towards the downtown ART station are also canceled until further notice.

For the W6, all trips scheduled 45 minutes after the hour from the downtown ART Station outbound towards the Pisgah View Apartments are canceled until further notice. All inbound trips starting 3 minutes after the hour from the Pisgah View Apartments towards the downtown ART station are also canceled until further notice.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this temporary service reduction may cause. ART is actively working to recruit and retain drivers and will restore service as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
