Dancing Bear Toys, a family-owned toy store with locations in Asheville and Hendersonville, will hold its third annual Fun Fest at the parking lot of 518 Kenilworth Road on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The free festival will showcase more than a dozen kid-friendly businesses with outdoor activities at each booth — face painting, a design-a-monster contest, Lego free play and a kids’ tattoo parlor, to name a few. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue will also be in attendance with adoptable dogs.
New this year is the festival’s Kidzone — “a section dedicated to kid entrepreneurs and their crafts and trades,” according to an event release. “Over 20 young vendors will set up booths alongside local businesses and try their hand at running a business.”
