Farm assistance available from NC Farm Bureau

Press release from Buncombe County:

Farm Assistance and Recovery Mission (FARM): To help farm families through this difficult time, North Carolina Farm Bureau’s Hurricane Relief Fund is administered through the FARM program. The purpose of the program is to provide assistance to eligible farmers who suffer losses due to hurricanes and tropical storms. Producers impacted by Tropical Storm Fred (August 16-20, 2021), in Buncombe County may request direct assistance.

Qualifying producers will receive assistance based on the total number of producers who participate in the assistance program. The assistance provided is subject to the availability of funds and will not exceed $500 per producer. Download the flyer from our website for more information. Submission deadline is Oct. 31, 2021.
