CHARLES GEORGE VA MEDICAL CENTER, Asheville – The Asheville VA’s Franklin Community Based Outpatient Clinic is inviting people to honor our Veteran heroes from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., May 23, by donating items that will be displayed in the Clinic.
The clinic, located at 647 Wayah St., in Franklin, is asking relatives and friends of Veterans to bring photos, letters, or memorabilia (no weapons) about those Veterans that can be displayed in the Clinic as part of the Clinic’s Memorial Day tribute. People should bring their display donations to the Clinic Reception Desk no later than May 9. Donated items will be returned to the owners.
The Clinic is also asking for pictures of Veterans who were being seen at the Franklin Clinic and have passed away during the past year. The pictures will be displayed in the clinic.
A POW/MIA table will also be on display during the day.
