Tues. 10/30-Fri. 11/2 All Day. Make a Paper Bag Puppet! All ages. Make a paper bag puppet and then have fun creating your own puppet show in our theater. Puppet-making supplies are available in the party room. This activity is free for members/free with $5 admission and is sponsored by Van Winkle Law Firm.
Fri. 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30 Makerspace every Friday 2-5 pm. Makerspace is an exhibit located in the DISCOVERY Room at Hands On!. Children and adults are invited to use their imaginations to design and build! Makerspace will be open every Friday from 2-5pm in November with a different themed project or craft each week. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This exhibit is free with $5 admission and free for members. Sponsored by Exxon Mobil.

Tues. 11/6-Fri. 11/9 All day. Celebrate Veteran’s Day! All Ages. Decorate a star to honor our veterans. Star supplies are available in the party room. This activity is free with $5 admission/free for members. All veterans or active duty military personnel will receive free admission on Saturday, November 10th in honor of Veteran’s day. Please come in uniform or bring your military ID or other proof of service.
Wed. 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28 Nature Nuts! Families, join Hands On! educators as they explore the great outdoors. All ages will enjoy these exciting and informative nature walks on the Oklawaha Greenway. Participants should meet at the Berkeley Road parking lot at 415 Berkeley Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792. This free program is sponsored by Hendersonville Pediatrics. Nature Nuts will be held every Wednesday from 11-12pm in November. Hands On! Children’s Museum is located at 318 North Main Street in historic downtown Hendersonville, NC. Museum Hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
