Janice Sexton, retired Registered Nurse and Hendersonville resident, is seeking a live liver donor as her liver is failing, and she is facing kidney failure and horrendous progression of the disease.
Potential donors should know that Sexton’s insurance pays for evaluation, surgery and any expenses related to surgery. Partial liver donation does not affect donor’s liver function. BMI must be under 35, and blood type does not need to be specific with the positive or negative. Sexton is blood type O. Please, if you can, help give back to someone who has given so much of herself to our community in her service.
