Press release from the Good of the Hive:
We are running around the world full-time, painting 50,000 honey bees in murals, using the power of art and strategy of activism to raise awareness about honey bees, pollination and the environment we all share.
Projects to date over 4 years, 21 murals and 5,000 bees painted include – Smithsonian’s National Zoo, United Nations, Burt’s Bees Global HQ, Broadway NYC, plus many schools, community centers, farms, the list goes on. We have been blessed with opportunities to speak at the United Nations, FAO, Duke University, Planetary Health Alliance, German Embassy, Georgetown University, French Embassy, Smithsonian Associates, and many more.
No matter where we end up, we are constantly seeking to improve and innovate our efforts to catalyzes real action and change in every community we engage with, our upcoming event in AVL included! We are always learning and the room for innovation in approaching environmental issues is large, to say the least.
