Local artist Charles Josef will be featured in PLITZS New York City Fashion Week Designer Showcase

Press release:

Asheville based designer shows New York how things are made in North Carolina. “Where are you going in that Get Up” is the theme for the 2018 Charles Josef Bridal Collection because it’s all about going somewhere. The Charles Josef Brand focuses on luxury attire for people who are fun loving, confident and enjoy the experience of wearing fine clothing. The 2018 collection will be luxurious and easy to wear with details like removable trains and custom elements that can make every gown as unique as the woman wearing it. Charles Josef is inspired by the events and adventures that life brings us and offers something to wear for each one whether it is a vacation overseas or a wedding in the Western North Carolina Mountains. The runway show will take place on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 2:45 pm at The Hotel Pennsylvania, New York.

Josef began to sew at the age of five with his grandmother, a sample seamstress in the New York Garment district, as his teacher, a fact that makes showing in New York that much more personal. Both of his collections are manufactured in Asheville, NC and are available wholesale as well as to private clients. Attendees can expect gorgeous luxury bridals and evening wear in the bridal segment of the show. The Charles Josef Collection is designed and made in Asheville, NC.
