Press release from Curren Podlesny:
Curren Podlesny, a local high school senior at West Henderson High, has chosen to exhibit his photographic art from all over the world as his senior project, raising the subject of art censorship and how it affects society. The show will be open to the public and will be on Sunday, March 31 from 2pm to 8pm. Hosted at Anatta Studio, 3754 Brevard Road (Highway 64) Suite 109, Horse Shoe NC 28749, just past the Horse Show post office.
Curren specializes in portraiture and landscapes and will have art canvases featuring people, families and scenes from the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains as well as work photographed on family trips to Iceland, Barcelona, Sweden and other countries.
Photography of his family’s beloved pets will also be displayed and a portion of proceeds will go to Blue Ridge Humane Society, as the young artist wants his work to give back to the community. For more information, contact Curren Podlesny.
