The Montford Park Players’ 40th anniversary season launches with the Shakespeare comedy “As You Like It.” That play runs April 12 through 29 at the Masonic Temple (80 Broadway St., Asheville). Performances are Thursday through Sunday, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Saturdays and Sundays. First and second Thursdays, April 12 and 19, are”Pay What We’re Worth Nights” – no reservations needed.

The outdoor season (performances are held at the Hazel Robinson Amphitheatre) also includes:
