From a press release:

Pamela Jones at The White Horse, June 27, with Chuck Lichtenberger, Justin Watt and Rob Giesler, plus special guests Stephanie Morgan and Alex Taub

Pamela Jones and her band will bring you an evening of stories and songs from the Big Apple. Enjoy some of you favorite NY themed jazz standards played by this smokin’ hot rhythm section, along with tales of love, loss and ambition by lead singer Pamela Jones who spent most of her youth there.

You’ll laugh, maybe cry, and hopefully dance.  Guaranteed…it will be a fulfilling evening!

Pamela Jones is a singer/songwriter originally from New York City.  She studied music at Boston Conservatory, and then moved to New York to attend Circle In The Square Theater School where she got a degree in acting. Pamela started writing and performing her original songs after college and has graced many stages throughout the New York, Connecticut and Boston area.

Pamela has sung spots for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Smart Girls At the Party (a web series starring Amy Pohler), performed at Carnegie Hall, and has sung back-up for various bands throughout the north and south.  Her first solo record Brightest Minds was recorded in Brooklyn, NY and is a refreshing blend of indie folk/pop.  The album is currently featured on iTunes and can be streamed at Pamelajones.bandcamp.com.

Since moving to Asheville, NC,  Pamela has been performing with various jazz bands and recently recorded an EP of a few of her favorite standards.  Tickets $15 general/$8 students.
