She currently is a member of the Artist Faculties of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Research has shown that the harp, the oldest stringed-instrument, and the flute are very effective at relaxing the mind. These instruments are known to aid the brains to synchronize with the musical beats causing alpha brianwaves, which are present when we are relaxed and conscious.
