Pardee Hospital Foundation encourages community to “TAP Into Philanthropy”

On Thursday, Aug. 11, Mountain River Tap & Growlers will donate 10 percent of all draft beer sales to the Pardee Hospital Foundation as part of the Foundation’s “TAP into Philanthropy” fundraiser. The community is invited to stop by any of the four Mountain River Tap & Growlers locations, inside Triangle Stop Gas, to purchase beer or fill their growlers. Locations include Saluda, Brevard, Mills River and the Asheville Airport. They feature beers from many local breweries like Oskar Blues, Wicked Weed and Catawba Brewing.

Patrons can also purchase a Pardee Hospital Foundation Tervis ® Tumbler or TAP into Philanthropy pint glass at any of the locations. All of the proceeds from the purchase of the glasses will benefit the Pardee Hospital Foundation. Pardee Memorial Hospital Foundation was approved as a nonprofit foundation in January 1996. The Foundation exists to educate and inspire the community to support Pardee Hospital. Pardee Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. The hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
