Hendersonville, N.C. (May 15, 2013) – Park Ridge Health is pleased to announce that Laura Fleck, M.D., board-certified neurologist, has joined its extensive family of primary care providers and specialists. Dr. Fleck has been providing care in the Asheville area for 11 years, and is now accepting new patients at Foundation in Spine Health, which is located at 333 Gashes Creek Road, Suite 111, in Asheville.
Dr. Fleck specializes in the evaluation and non-surgical management of spine conditions that cause pain in the neck, mid back or low back. She also provides evaluation of peripheral nerve problems and performs EMG/NCV testing to determine the cause of numbness, tingling, pain, or weakness in the arms and legs.
“As a spine neurologist, I aim to clarify where symptoms are coming from and empower each patient with the treatment plan they need to take control of their spine health,” says Dr. Fleck. “I’m a firm believer in lifestyle changes that will enhance each patient’s recovery and prevent further problems in the future.”
Dr. Fleck, who attended medical school and completed her residency at Northwestern University, offers a holistic approach to care that incorporates attention to the patient’s entire spine and lifestyle changes that lead to sustainable improvement.
