Park Ridge Health Welcomes Rheumatologist
Hendersonville, N.C. (April 15, 2013) – Park Ridge Health is pleased to welcome board-certified rheumatologist Carlo Mainardi, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.R., to its team of providers. Dr. Mainardi is accepting new patients at 50 Hospital Drive, Suite 2B, on the campus of Park Ridge Health.As a rheumatologist, Dr. Mainardi cares for patients with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, which are complex diseases that affect the joints, muscles and bones.
Dr. Mainardi has been providing rheumatology care since 1976, and served as Chief of the Division of Rheumatology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center from 2008 – 2010. He has been recognized as a top physician by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., Consumers’ Research Council of America and New Jersey Monthly. Dr. Mainardi has also worked in health care management since 1986, most recently serving as Chairman of Medicine at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and previously as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, N.J. Currently, Dr. Mainardi serves as Chief Medical Officer for Park Ridge Health.
Dr. Mainardi earned his medical degree at the College of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, and completed his residency and fellowships in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
