Statement from Rep. Madison Cawthorn:

I am honored to announce the opening of my first District Office, in Hendersonville NC. This is just the first of multiple offices that will work closely with our D.C. staff to provide quick, effective, and satisfactory results for my constituents in NC-11. I am also privileged to introduce my district team, who represent some of the most talented employees in any Congressional office nationwide.

Regional Representative and Caseworker Michele Presnell is a former four term member of the State House of Representatives, where she represented Yancey, Madison and Haywood Counties and former member of the Yancey County Board of Commissioners.

Regional Representative and Caseworker Drew West was a former Caseworker for former United States Representative Mark Meadows. Graduate of The University of North Carolina Asheville and lifelong resident of the 11th Congressional district.

Caseworker Lisa Wiggins is a Hendersonville-based successful small business owner (for over 10 years) with an associate degree in elementary education and a bachelors’ degree in business administration.

Office Manager and Caseworker: Brianna McMinn is NC Legislative Liaison for the Western NC DWI Task Force and former Western Executive Assistant for Senator Chuck Edwards. She is also a lifelong resident of the 11th Congressional District.

Staff Assistant Katherine “Katie” Truitt is former staff assistant for former United States Representative Mark Meadows.

I am supremely confident in this team and am excited to work closely with them in the District.

The contemplated passenger rail connection from Asheville to Wilmington will almost certainly be powered by a new, NC-conceived, zero-carbon traction tech called hydrail. It makes electric trains about $12 million a mile cheaper to build and $130K cheaper to operate per mile per year. Hal Weatherman has been kept current on hydrail for over a decade. Search: DOT shift hydrogen statesville for info or Google: Appstate hydrail .
