From Asheville Humane Society

Press release

Prestige Subaru has selected Asheville Humane Society as the Hometown Charity for the “Share the Love” event kicking off November 19 and running through January 2, 2016. Subaru of America will donate $250 for each new car bought or leased, allowing the buyer to choose from five national charities and Asheville Humane Society.

Tracy Elliott, Executive Director of the Asheville Humane Society commented on the event. “We are deeply grateful to be the chosen Hometown Charity for Subaru’s “Share the Love” event once again. Now is the perfect time to buy a car from Prestige and help local homeless animals in our community! During Share the Love 2014, Asheville Humane Society received over $20,000.00 in local community support from Subaru of America.”

Prestige Subaru’s Anthony Pelle is also excited about the partnership. “We are very proud to have Asheville Humane Society included as our Hometown Charity this year in our annual “Share the Love” event. They sincerely go above and beyond making sure that each animal gets the care they need and deserve.”

As part of the Share the Love event, Prestige Subaru will be hosting its annual Adoption Day and Pet Food and Toy Holiday Drive on December 12, 2015 from 11 am to 3 pm at their dealership at 505 Tunnel Rd in Asheville. Prestige Subaru has also signed on as the Home for the Holidays Sponsor of Asheville Humane Society’s Adoption Center from now through January 2, 2016. “Our goal this year, says Pelle, is to help every animal find a forever home of their own for the holidays.”

Asheville Humane Society is dedicated to promoting the compassionate treatment of animals in our community through education, sheltering and adoption. Asheville Humane Society is a private, non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization focused on saving lives of homeless animals. Visit our website at www.ashevillehumane.org.
