The Foundation Spot is a DIY skateable sculpture park built by volunteers with the help of PUSH Skateshop. It draws swarms of locals and visitors from around the country. Located behind the Riverview Station in the emerging Foundation Studios of Asheville’s River Arts District, the Spot has become a beacon for grassroots creativity and radical exercise. The Spot is free and open to anyone who wants to appreciate the art or ride the terrain. It is surrounded by an extensive and beautiful collection of murals, created by some
of Asheville’s most talented artists.
