Venrure Local Fair will be held fourth Saturdays, May-Oct.

Asheville Grown Business Alliance (AGBA) is pleased to announce the return of the Venture Local Fair. This event will be held once a month, on the fourth Saturday, May through October downtown at 68 Haywood Street.  The Venture Local Fair will transform this space into a bustling, family friendly, mini village of discovery with local vendors, food trucks and music. Comprised of makers, artists, collectors, musicians, chefs, entertainers and inventors, the Venture Local Fair will cultivate a supportive environment for small businesses to grow.

AGBA is well known for the Love Asheville Go Local campaign and advocating the importance of locally-owned, independent businesses. Franzi Charen (Director), Michele Bryan (Program Manager) and Emma Hutchens (Event Coordinator) are the force behind creative AGBA endeavors, including the Go Local Card and the Venture Local Fair. This summer series offers an opportunity to surround yourself with a diverse array of local talent and opportunities while supporting the community you love.

The Venture Local Fair will be held on Saturdays, May 26, June 23, July 28, August 25, September 22 and October 27 from noon until 7pm. The event is free to the public and parking can easily be found at the Civic Center, Rankin and Wall Street parking decks as well as on the street.
