PRESS RELEASE:
In Vienna, Austrians celebrate the New Year with a gala concert loaded with home town waltzes. Local dancers and music lovers won’t have to wait that long as the White Horse Black Mountain opens its spacious dance floor to waltzing couples on Wednesday, December 16 at 7 p.m. Live music will be provided by a trio of seasoned dance musicians: Suzanne Hosch on flute and whistle, Paul Moore on piano and accordion, and Roger Gold on Guitar. The venerable and varied waltz offers plenty of challenges for experienced dancers, but the basics are simple enough for newbies. It’s also not a problem to arrive without a partner- there are plenty of willing waltzers on hand. Basic waltz lessons are offered from 6:30-7:00 for $5.
Event begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8.
