Widespread Panic will play the U.S. Cellular Center on Sept. 17

Widespread Panic will be performing at the U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville, NC on September 17th. Showtime is at 8:00 PM and doors will open at 7:00 PM. Widespread Panic’s 2016 Fall Tour kicks off on the East Coast and will head South for stops in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida before heading to the Midwest, and ending in Broomfield, Colorado for three nights at the 1STBANK Center. The band will take a a break in November, but will play their annual Tunes For Tots Benefit on December 29th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. Following Tunes For Tots, the band will ring in the new year with two very special nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on December 30th and 31st.

The band’s latest album, Street Dogs, is a testament to how a veteran band can remain vibrant, relevant and continue to progress. American Songwriter called it “…one of Widespread Panic’s finest discs.” PopMatters said “…the band has never sounded better nor more relaxed” (8/10 stars).

Throughout three decades, Widespread Panic has been featured on ABC Good Morning America, CBS Sunday Morning, CNN’s Showbiz Today, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and has performed on CONAN, Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Austin City Limits, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and A&E Breakfast with the Arts.

The band’s music and live shows have become a rite of passage for multiple generations who continue to pack venues and follow the band throughout the U.S. The band has remained in Pollstar’s Top 50 Tours of the Year for the past decade and holds attendance records at major venues across the country, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre (48 sell-outs).
