WNCW celebrates 25th anniversary at Pisgah Brewing Co.

Pisgah Brewing Company will close their outdoor stage season on September 27 with a with a concert to celebrate 25 years of local public radio from North Carolina’s 88.7 WNCW, and spotlighting local non-profits, Funding America Through Entertainment (FATE), as well as Habitat For Humanity.

This free community event will feature a headlining set on the Outdoor Stage from local new-grass pioneers Acoustic Syndicate. Other acts for the event will include a special set from guitar virtuoso Shane Pruitt Band and Friends, as well as an opening set from the Pisgah Brewing house band, Phuncle Sam. The concert is set to have gates opening at 4pm and music starting at 5pm.

WNCW is treasured in our Western North Carolina community for its unwavering support of local and regional artists as well as musical traditions of the Southern states. Known nationally, WNCW is proud to celebrate 25 years of supporting the musicians craft and regional culture. The event will include a silent auction with stellar items, a raffle with many prizes in the form of music and live concert tickets, as well as other fundraising opportunities for the crowd to give back to those who give daily.
