Jane speaks

Academy Award-winner Jane Fonda will deliver the keynote speech at Time for Our Power!, a women’s conference in Asheville, on Saturday, June 21. Best known as an actress, Fonda is also an author, political activist and a fitness leader. At the conference, she’ll speak to why “Our Leadership is Needed” to a crowd of mostly women.

For those unable to catch Fonda live, there’ll be another opportunity to hear her speak: Tomorrow (Wednesday June 18), she’ll be interviewed by national talk-radio host Stephanie Miller on the local radio station 880 AM, aka “The Revolution.” The show is at 9:30 a.m., and she’ll be talking about the upcoming conference.

Unfortunately for her fans (and, for that matter, her critics), the interview that will air tomorrow was recorded yesterday, so there won’t be an opportunity to call in with questions.

I just want to say, that I, as a man, do think that feminine energy is needed more in this world. But not just from the women, but from the men too. We all have facets of ourselves that are labeled feminine. But in this culture it is hard for men to access that part of themselves. It is easier, in my view, for women to access their masculine sides than for men to tap into their softer sides. When, and if, that happens, it will be a time for everybody’s power.

cgo, feminine energy from guys? LOL, you are so way off man. Sounds like you have been brainwashed by the feminist extremists. Be a man, man, that is what God made you. Let the ladies be “feminine”, as God made them. Being peaceful and courteous is not a feminine value. It is masculine as well. Don’t let these misantrophic extremists throw you off man. Jane Fonda needs to apologize for her traitorous behavour during the Vietnam War. Jane, people do stupid stuff when they are young. Just admit you were stupid to cause so many deaths and tortures of our brave fighting men. You will be forgiven if you are sincere.
