Flat Rock Playhouse presents The Music of The Eagles

PRESS RELEASE FROM FLAT ROCK PLAYHOUSE:

Flat Rock Playhouse will resume its 2016 Music on the Rock concert series with The Music of The Eagles on May 12th at the Playhouse Downtown. This highly requested tribute will feature such hits as Hotel California, Witchy Woman, Take It to the Limit, Desperado and many others.

Formed in 1971, The Eagles is one of the world’s best selling bands of all time, having sold more than 150 million records. With a sound most often described as “California Rock,” The Eagles were influenced by the 1960’s rhythm and blues, soul, bluegrass and rock bands such as The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield. They have won six Grammy Awards including Record of the Year in 1977 for Hotel California and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Music on the Rock favorites Dustin Brayley, Ryan Dunn and Ryan Guerra will return to the Playhouse Downtown for a limited two weekend engagement.

Guerra, in addition to playing guitar, will serve as the Music Director for The Music of The Eagles with Jon Brown on drums and Charles Holland on bass. Brayley and Dunn will both be on guitar; Brayley will play keys.

Music on the Rock: The Music of The Eagles will run from May 12th through the 22nd at the Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown. Evening performances Thursday at 7:30 PM, and Friday and Saturday at 8 PM. Matinee performances Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM.
