Open casting call for major motion picture

Press release from Fincannon & Associates Casting:

Fincannon & Associates Casting, a NC based Emmy award winning motion picture casting company, is looking for a 10-13 YEAR OLD BOY to be the lead of the upcoming film, The Legacy of the Whitetail Deer Hunter.

The film will be shot in and around the Asheville, NC area during the months of October, November, and December 2015.

Legacy will star Josh Brolin and Danny McBride and will be directed by Jody Hill, who also directed Eastbound & Down and Observe & Report.

“No acting experience is necessary,” explains Lisa Mae Fincannon, Casting Director on the project. “We are looking for very real, southern young talent who have a gift for telling stories and being themselves in front of the camera…a great sense of humor helps as well! Jaden (our 10-13 year old boy) is confident and considers himself to be pretty cool, while having a 6th grade real boy quality. He is supposed to be bonding with his father on a hunting trip, but Jaden wants to do anything but!”

The open call to the public is Saturday, September 12th, 11 AM – 3 PM. Bring a recent photo if you have one.
