Telco Community Credit Union
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Telco Community Credit Union of Asheville will award a random member with a $30,000 grand prize Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. as part of the “Save to Win” program. The winner will be selected from a group of 1,900 program participants that saved an average of $1200 per person last year.
The event will include refreshments and an opportunity to interview the winner and/or program officials. Telco Community CU CEO Rita Gentry and Carolinas Credit Union League CEO John Radebaugh will speak at the event and present the prize money.
North Carolina recently became the third state in the country to join the program, thanks to legislation passed in 2011.
