The Magnetic Theatre presents Yes Fest the Second, April 21-23

Reasonably Priced Babies

PRESS RELEASE:

The first Asheville Yes Fest last September was a blast, not to mention that it was named one of the top 5 comedy shows in 2015 by Mountain Xpress! So, we had to bring it back! Yes Fest the Second! comes to Magnetic 375 (375 Depot Street in the River Arts District) April 21-23. Acclaimed, accomplished Asheville area improv troupes will come together again for this special three-night romp of hilarious, off-the-cuff entertainment. Featured groups include Reasonably Priced Babies, No Regets, Blacklist Improv, and The OxyMorons. These experts in make-’em-ups will tickle your funny bone, dazzle your senses, and astound you with cleverness and (with luck, not too many) puns. Yes Fest the Second! will pair these groups like fabulous food and fine wine (or, if you prefer, craft beer) to bring you some of the most creative, laugh-filled performances you will ever see! As all good improvisers know, don’t just say “Yes,” say “Yes and,” so say Yes and to Yes Fest the Second!

Asheville’s only known improv festival, Yes Fest the Second! will be presented Thursday-Saturday, April 21-23, at 7:30 and 9:30 PM each night. The four improv troupes are mixed and matched in such a way that, should you wish, you can see all four troupes (or parts thereof) in any one night! This year, purchase an All-Access Yes Pass for $60 to see as many shows as you want—or can!

Performance schedule:
4/21 Thursday 7:30: Blacklist Improv and No Regets
4/21 Thursday 9:30: The Oxymorons and Old Man Toddler (just Mondy and Tom of the Babies)
4/22 Friday 7:30: Reasonably Priced Babies and Blacklist Improv
