“Wastedland 2” screens at the Burger Bar, Nov. 6

After an opening night at Gallery5 in Richmond, Va, Andrew H. Shirley and fellow artists will be traveling to Raleigh, NC and Asheville, NC with 2 nights of special underground screenings of “Wastedland 2” (31 min / Color/ 2016) and live performances by The Unstoppable Death Machines (NYC), EKG – TAS (NYC), GULL (Richmond) and ADAM VOID (The Woods of North Carolina).

Much of the film was shot over a 2 year period in remote mountainous parts of North Carolina. This past Summer, the film’s director taught at Black Mountain School, where he finished the editing for the film.

Andrew H. Shirley and artists from the film will be present at the screenings for discussion and collaborative expression.
